New Zealand's Olympic Legends

Rowing Race

During the Olympics, I watched a rowing race at school.
First, the teams got ready and settled in their positions, then they started the race.
My eyes were absolutely glued to it. I was cheering for New Zealand the whole time. They looked like they were in their 30s, they were wearing black and white and they had heaps of muscles. I knew that in a few minutes, it would be over and I would be able to relax.
While I was thinking of how I could relax, New Zealand got in front and they won a gold medal.
I think the men were relieved that the race was over.

  2. Shakira, what fabulous descriptions you have used in this piece of writing. You obviously do a lot of reading in your spare time and possess a very good vocabulary :)
